LUKE HUMPHRIES is a rising star in the PDC, having made the transition from the Development Tour to the professional circuit in 2018.

The Newbury ace won the Development Tour Order of Merit in 2017 after taking five titles, earning him a two-year ProTour card and a place at the 2018 World Darts Championship.

Humphries also won a Challenge Tour event in 2017 and was expected to make a strong impact on the professional tour.

The youngster immediately met such expectations by qualifying for the UK Open Finals in addition to his first European Tour events as a pro.

Humphries became the first player to top the Development Tour Order of Merit in successive years when he again finished first in 2018.

He also qualified for the World Championship for the second consecutive year and went on to reach the quarter-finals after defeating defending champion Rob Cross.
